Welcome to the official website of the IFIP Confenis (International Conference on Research and Practical Issues of Enterprise Information Systems). The conference focuses on both the technical and application aspects of enterprise information systems.

The Confenis conference series is mainly organized by IFIP TC 8.9, jointly organized by IFIP TC 8.12, IEEE SMC Society Technical Committee on EIS, and IEEE SMC Society Technical Committee on Enterprise Architecture and Engineering. Previous Confenis conferences were held in America, Asia, Europe, and Oceania annually since the first Confenis held in Vienna, Austria, 2006.

IFIP (ifip.org, Intro Video) is the leading multinational, apolitical organization in Information & Communications Technologies and Sciences, is recognized by United Nations and other world bodies, has a formal consultative partnership relation with UNESCO, represents IT Societies from over 38 countries or regions covering all 5 continents with a total membership of over half a million, links more than 3500 scientists from Academia and Industry organized in more than 101 Working Groups reporting to 13 Technical Committees, sponsors 100 conferences yearly providing unparalleled coverage from theoretical informatics to the relationship between informatics and society including hardware and software technologies, and networked information systems.

Covid-19 requires Confenis 2020 to change its format this year. Instead of regular face-to-face sessions, we will conduct the Confenis 2020 in a virtualized, but still interactive way.

All papers that are accepted, registered, and presented will be submitted to Springer Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing book series (LNBIP, https://www.springer.com/series/7911) for publication.
